Our producer/engineer, Edward Layola, brings
with him over 25 years of experience in the entertainment industry. Like
many of us, he started out playing in a band (a drummer). Very quickly it
became evident that his talent at the mixing board far surpassed his talent
on the drum stool. Over several years he was the sound man for many bands.
In 1986 he started a small sound company called EDION sound. For the last
two years of his companies existence, he and his company were employed at
a local night club (The Beach Shack). Though he's always preferred recording
to "live" mixing, his company's commitment has kept him out of the studio.
In 1992, he made the break from the night club scene to join 7 South as
Associate Producer/Engineer.
If you don't have a producer for your studio-ready
project, we highly recommend Edward Layola as a producer/engineer.
