    Mark Henderson is an innovative composer and accomplished keyboard artist who has created music for such diverse worlds as musical theatre, commercials, animation, TV and film, international trade conventions, video and CD-ROMs.
    He has composed for a comprehensive clientele, running the gamut from Reebok, Honda and Coca Cola, to Steven Spielberg, Kenny Loggins, and NBC News.
    Henderson was raised in Santa Barbara, California, where for over a decade he has been resident composer for the nationally acclaimed, award - winning Access Theatre.
    He has composed 11 musical productions which have been staged at such prestigious venues as Los Angeles' James A. Doolittle Theatre and The Kennedy Center in Washington, D.C., as well as touring internationally. 
    His original songs have been performed by such popular recording artists as Kenny Loggins, Melissa Manchester and Tiffany.
    In 1994, Henderson partnered with Gregory Kuhn to form Blazing Cactus Music, in Santa Monica California, a music house for TV commercials, and varied musical projects.  They wrote 30 songs and underscore for Steven Spielberg's DreamWorks Interactive premiere CD-ROM titled "Someone's In The Kitchen,” a joint venture with Bill Gates' Microsoft; wrote original songs and score for the Cloud 9 Interactive children's CD-ROM called "Nick And Nora In Troll Town;" and composed for "Zoo Food With Grandpa Nature," a children's video featuring the voice of Jonathan Winters.
    They created music and sound design for Honda, Southwestern Bell, Unocal, MCI, Reebok, KNBC Television, Coca Cola and Intel Pentium Processor television commercials, as well as the "Cereal Prize" and "Soda Machine" installments of the humorous "Got Milk?" commercial series.
    At Blazing Cactus, Henderson wrote the original theme song for Storyland Theme Park in the Philippines and the score for Hawaii's Voyager Submarine Ride.  His song "When You Smile At Me" was heard on the "Santa Barbara" television series, and other compositions have been heard on "The Sentinel" series.  His challenging projects also included multi-media and industrial video work for Mead Paper and Motorola's E-3 international conference in Switzerland.
