I knew that I had to record an album this summer. For me, the songs on here represent a period of time in my experience - one supercharged with energy- a slice of life. Two weeks before I was set to record, I found myself without a bass player or guitarist. Yet, I still strongly felt this was the time for the recording to take place. Within a few days the "warlocks of rock" (as I call them) appeared (Daniel, Alastair, Dave & Doug) and magic began to happen. We had two weeks to sound like we had been together for two years. Maybe it was this spontaneous, creative energy that made everything run like clockwork. We all had an amazing time doing the project and laughed a lot! Sometimes, a seemingly negative circumstance can be an incredibly positive one. Glad you're a part of it! KC
