Anti-m is a hard band to describe.
With Musical influences from YES and
The WHO to Duran Duran and a Flock of Seagulls ANTI-M add
their occasionally offensive and controversial
lyrics to modern techno rock
songs. After NO WAVES IN HELL, their concept album based
on a surfer who dreams he goes to hell
and meets Satan, Anti-m put together
POSITIVELY NEGATIVE with guest guitarist RONNIE MONTROSE.
This album picks on organized religion (WRAP THIS AROUND
YOUR HEAD, ASSAULTED), rips up on TELEVISION and takes
a try at grunge (THE SALINE SOLUTION).
Songs from both anti-m albums are
featured in the Hawaiian surf videos
Modern Legends in Hawaiian surf, Tanker Re-evolution
and I Don't Know Why. Anti-m also recently soundtracked
the 1997 feature (released on video) film YOU ONLY DIE
ONCE that spoofs James Bond film. For those who want their
moneys worth both Anti-m ed's are over
