This Lost Episode is not a real
episode.
It was created in 1988* by "borrowing"
elements (sound and footage) from all 78 episodes of The Original
Series.
(And the cartoon
series - & the original cast's non-Star Trek roles.)
These were "reassembling" into a new, cautionary
episode:
How a show can wander off course and get itself canceled.
This
is a full length spoof of The Original Series.
The scenes were completely re-edited into a "new" episode,
and then we replaced the dialogue with our own.
The sound track was gleaned from original TOS music & sound
effects.
Here, the Enterprise is still on its way to Babel. This time the
Romulans attempt to finish what the Andorians started: To stop
Corridon's admission to the Federation.
Yes, we had too much fun.
*We wore out 2 VCRs duping copies at cost. Now
low rez copies are circulating on file sharing networks and being
downloaded daily from this page.
The original VHS master was muddy & is finally died.
So we digitally re-mastered "Star Trek: The Lost Episode" for DVD-R,
recently rebuilt (2003) from TOS DVDs & original sound files.
Paramount? They loved it but
will not condone our making any money on it (not that we intended
to).
We also offer the entire "Lost Episode" for
free (below) as WinMedia (.asf) files. (320x240
15 frames per sec)
